Prashant Maniar

Prashant is the Managing Partner of Encito Advisors, a boutique strategic and financial advisory firm, focused on clean energy, environment, and mobility, helping clients with PE/VC syndication, mergers & acquisitions, India entry strategies, and project finance. He has over 20 years of experience that spans deep sector expertise, global on-the-ground experience, ability to identify synergies, a rigorous approach to financial risk/returns modelling, keen eye to identify issues early on, close relationship globally with developers/manufacturers/ strategic industrials/investors, win-win approach to negotiations, long term client relationships, unwavering integrity and a good understanding of cultural diversities. He focuses on taking a 360-degree view of transactions and closing win-win cross-border deals.

Prashant holds an MBA, specializing in Entrepreneurship, from Santa Clara University (USA), an M.E. in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Carolina (USA), and a B.E. in Electronics Engineering from Mumbai University (India). He is the co-chair for TIE’s Global Sustainability & Mobility SIG and mentors for STPI’s CoE MOTION for electric vehicles.

Tremendously passionate about leaving behind a clean and sustainable world for future generations, Prashant expresses this in his personal and professional endeavours. He has presented at many marquee conferences, writes articles regularly, and has participated as a judge in many reputed competitions. He also devotes a considerable amount of his time mentoring entrepreneurs.
