Shyam is the Co-founder and CEO of VyVoxel, which specializes in the area of visual computing application development. He is an experienced technology professional and CTO with a demonstrated history of working in the medical imaging, devices, and physical-digital domains. His forte includes technology strategy development, engineering/ people management, product realisation in emerging markets, cross-functional collaboration, and driving innovation & entrepreneurial culture across an organisation.

With strong research and technology expertise, Shyam is passionate about developing technologies that make an impact ranging from lifesaving devices to the innovative use of imaging, visualization and data analysis to improve human productivity. He has notched up 25 years of experience in product development and technology management across start-ups and multinationals.

Shyam holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused in 3D Rendering and Visualisation Algorithms from RMIT University. He is a firm believer that “low cost” does not translate to low technology – on the contrary, the opposite is mostly true.
