Dewang is the Founder-CEO of Atom Technologies, an NTT Data group company. Atom is one of India’s leading payments service providers focused on creating an end-to-end payments ecosystem over the internet, IVR, mobile, and point-of-sale. He is passionate about electronic payments and their power to bring about huge social transformation in a growth economy like India and reduce the overall costs associated. He is actively involved in the payments industry being a Chairman of the Merchant Aggregators Committee in Payment Council of India (PCI) as well as a member of the Executive Council of PCI.

As a co-founder of 63 Moons (the erstwhile Financial Technologies), he led the technology team that created pathbreaking products including ODIN, a broker front-office trading solution that continues to be the industry leader, Exchange Matching Engine, used by exchanges like MCX and MSEI, and STP-Gate, a messaging platform.

Dewang holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science. He has been a featured speaker at several national and international academic, business, and technology forums as well as at industry events. He is a charter member of TiE Mumbai and an active angel investor having invested in over 40+ startups such as Inc42, NowFloats, DoSelect, Aisle, eShiksa, and GrowFitter amongst others.
