Anand is a successful entrepreneur and an active investor. A founding member of the Mumbai Angels organization since 2007, he serves on the board of directors. Anand has invested in the angel and seed-stage of successful companies including InMobi (India’s first unicorn), Fractal Analytics (India’s 2nd largest analytics services company), GreenDust (India’s largest factory refurbished business), Apalya Technologies, ZingHR (India’s leading HR product on the cloud), Hotelogix, AtYourPrice and several others.
Prior to this and over a 20-year period, Anand successfully founded and grew Rave Technologies into a leader in the outsourced software product development (OPD) space, which he later sold to a large multinational software company.
Anand holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University where he graduated with distinction. He spends his leisure time encouraging budding entrepreneurs, playing golf, listening to music, and skiing.
